Bio Elsbeer Blütensirup
Enjoy the organic Asperl brandy in a relaxed atmosphere, as a digestif after a meal or as a special gift for friends and family.
The beautiful white flowers of the up to 15m high service tree are picked by hand. When heated with water and organic beet sugar, the resulting syrup smells of marzipan and takes on a mead-like taste when it cools down.
Pleasure tip: The organic blossom syrup is perfect as a non-alcoholic thirst quencher. It also refines a splash or a glass of sparkling wine with its floral, refreshing note. It is particularly suitable as the culmination of a pudding or sorbet.

Description
Service tree blossom syrup is made from the fragrant service tree blossoms (Sorbus torminalis). The serviceberry is a tree native to Europe. The flowers have a pleasant, sweet scent and are often used to make syrup.
To make serviceberry blossom syrup, the blossoms are soaked in water and the brew is then boiled down with sugar to form a syrup. This syrup can be used in many ways, for example to sweeten drinks such as lemonades or cocktails, to refine desserts or to flavor yoghurt or ice cream.
Serviceberry blossom syrup has a flowery and slightly sweet taste that gives dishes and drinks a special touch. However, it should be noted that service tree syrup is not as widely available as other types of syrup and may not be available at every grocery store. It might be found in delicatessens, specialty stores, or online local produce stores.
